How to cancel your membership with National Readers Service

If you do not wish to use our do-it-yourself guides, we suggest this cancellation service:

National Readers Service provides magazine subscriptions for most popular publications, and allows customers to buy many different magazines at a time and still have one single bill. Keep in mind that the National Readers Service is not directly affiliated with any magazine, and canceling subscriptions cannot be done by calling the magazines themselves.

To get started on canceling your National Readers Service account, you will need your:

  • Customer ID
  • Full name on file
  • Address on file
  • Phone number on file

Steps to cancel
To cancel National Readers Service, call 800-918-6773. You will need to ask repeatedly to cancel the agreement. They may try and negotiate a lower rate. If you stick to it and demand the entire agreement be terminated you can be successful.

Insider Tip
Cancel as soon as you know that you do not want to continue your membership. They will not typically refund any monies already paid.

Please note

If you are not cancelling within your cancellation period (usually the first 15 days), you will have to negotiate a buy-out on the contract.
