HOWTOCANCEL.COM offers a free step-by-step strategy that shows our users how to cancel over 500 products including: credit cards, cell phones, insurance policies, magazine subscriptions, memberships and more. We offer multiple methods of cancellation and have cancellation tips/tricks for just about every product possible. Our cancellation guides have been featured on such sites as the Wall Street Journal, LifeHacker, Yahoo Voices, MSN Money, the Detroit Free Press and more. We are always adding more guides so check back often!
Meet the Team
I’m a consumer advocate and consumer right’s specialist. I took over as the team lead here a year ago after spending the last four years working on consumer advocacy and helping build up the website you see here. Before joining the team, I worked as a freelance content writer for a small news and information blog. When I am not fighting for consumer rights, I spend my time with my family and teaching piano to the children in my neighborhood. I have two cats, Pearl and Ruby, who I adopted as a pair of kittens a year ago. I can best be summed up by the quote from Steve Jobs “If You Are Working On Something That You Really Care About, You Don’t Have To Be Pushed. The Vision Pulls You.” I really care about what we do here!
I am your consumer advocate and an expert in all things cancellation-related. I specialize in finding the hard-to-find information you need to cancel, and have been doing this for two and a half years now. Before I started, I worked as an assistant in a law office so I saw the need for advocates to help with this kind of information. I like to spend time gardening and I am a big book lover with a large collection kept at my home. My family and I are also practitioners of martial arts to stay in shape. I believe strongly that knowledge is power in the world so I love being able to provide helpful knowledge and information. After all, that is what we are here for, to empower people like you to close those accounts.
I am here for you! I am the junior member of the team having been here for just at one year now. I was fresh out of college, with a communications degree, when I started and have come to love what we do here. I am engaged to be married, and in our free time my fiancee and I enjoy hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. I learned growing up and still believe that the greatest thing one human can do for another is to share knowledge. That is why I love what we do here, we share knowledge to give others the chance to accomplish a task and that is very fulfilling to me. I am thankful for my communications background too since it helps me effectively share information in the most useful way.
