Accountable2U is an internet activity reporting and monitoring program. The program is designed to monitor device activity for content the software considers dangerous, harmful, or objectionable. Accountable2U was founded in 2007 and is based in Kentucky. Users choose their accountability partners when setting up the software, and those partners are then notified if the user’s device is used to access harmful or objectionable content. Accountable2U can be used to monitor Windows or macOS-based computers, Chrome OS devices, Linux-based devices, Kindles, and mobile phones using iOS or Android operating systems. Accountability partners will receive daily and weekly report emails and may set up instant text message alerts for content automatically monitored by the software or content that matches chosen keywords.

Several plans are available for the software. Personal plans start at $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year, with family plans available for $11.99 per month or $119.99 per year. Personal plans may be used on up to 6 devices within the household, while Family plans can be used on an unlimited number of devices in the same household. Church groups may access a plan just for such groups, the plan is available for $9.99 per month paid by the group which individual members paying $5.59 per month for a personal plan or $9.59 per month for a family plan. Small businesses may access a small business plan available to an unlimited number of devices for $14.99 per month plus an additional charge of $0.99 per installation. All plans automatically renew at the end of the paid billing period but have no minimum commitment and may be cancelled at any time.
