How to cancel Shoppers Advantage

Shoppers Advantage is an online marketplace that offers discounts on various products for their members. Membership includes product recommendations, cash back on purchases made on their site, a warranty and return guarantee. Shoppers Advantage also offers a low price discount that provides a refund on the difference in price if you can find a product that is offered on their site at a lower cost anywhere else.

Membership includes a fee that is automatically billed and renewed unless you designate that you do not wish to renew your membership. Shoppers Advantage is a service offered by Trilegiant. To cancel your membership and prevent the auto-renewal billing you will have to either contact Shoppers Advantage by phone or by submitting the request in writing.

 

What you will need to cancel:

  • Your account information
  • Your payment method information
  • Paper and pen (if submitting a cancellation request in writing)

Steps to cancel: (By Phone)

  1. Call the membership department at 1 (800) 526-4848
  2. Follow the prompts and request to speak with a representative about cancelling your membership
  3. Make note of the time/date and with whom you are speaking too
  4. Provide any necessary information the representative requests
  5. Ask the representative if it is fully cancelled and if you have any charges remaining on your account
  6. Make a follow up call a few days later to confirm that your membership has been cancelled successfully

Steps to cancel: (By mail)

  1. Write a courteous letter stating that you wish for your membership and all automatic renewal to be completely cancelled and ceased
  2. Be sure to include your name and contact information such as a phone number in case they need to reach you.
  3. Address the letter to: Shoppers Advantage, P.O. Box 41279, Nashville, TN 37204, Attention: Membership Department
  4. When you mail it have some form of delivery confirmation for your records that proves that it was received
  5. Make a follow up call a few days after the delivery is confirmed to make sure that your membership has been cancelled successfully
