SendSpace is a file transfer and storage space service. Users can upload and share files via SendSpace that are too large to send by other means, for example, email. SendSpace operates in the USA, the United Kingdom, and Germany as well as other European countries. Users upload a file to SendSpace and can then send a link to another person for them to use to download the file in question. Initial signup for a limited version of the site is free. Free accounts may send files up to a size of 300mb per single file and have those files available for up to 30 days. There are 2 tiers of paid, premium membership for personal users, Pro Base, and Pro Premium. Both Premium plans include unlimited lifetime storage of files, removal of ads from the site, sharing of a group of files with a single link, the option to password protect certain files or folders, and priority support. Premium Base members may send files up to 5gb per single file and have 100 GB of dedicated bandwidth for downloads, while Premium Pro users have a single file limit of 10 GB and 300 GB of dedicated download bandwidth. A Business plan is also available with the same features and limits as the Premium Pro plan as well as the ability to create a workgroup of users, share collaborative folders, and use instant messaging on the site. Business plans are $49.99 after a 14-day free trial. Personal Premium Base plans are $8.99 per month while Premium Pro plans are $19.99 per month. All plans automatically renew each month, but have no commitment or minimum subscription term and can be cancelled at any time if desired.
